Experts in Mission-Critical Communications Systems For over 25 years, Zetron has been designing, manufacturing and delivering state of the art mission-critical communications systems for public and private agencies and companies. These have included solutions for public safety, government, aviation, railways, maritime and utilities as well as industrial, medical, educational and business applications. Zetron's wide range of communication solutions include:
Zetron has installed thousands of systems and deployed over 15,000 console operator positions worldwide. The scope and success of these projects demonstrate the performance, effectiveness, robustness and reliability of Zetron's products. Global Reach, Local Presence Zetron's offices span the globe, with sites in USA, UK and Australia. In addition Zetron maintains alliances with a worldwide network of Channel Partners and System Integrators who market and support its products and custom systems. This gives Zetron a significant presence in over 60 countries. Zetron's partners also include multilingual experts who live in the countries they support, and who thoroughly understand their regions' communication challenges. As a result, Zetron is able to provide mission-critical systems that address the specific needs of businesses in these regions. This extensive network gives Zetron a global reach as well as a vital local presence in the areas it serves. Integrated Command and Control Systems (ICCS) Zetron's Acom Advanced Communication System meets the needs of large command and control facilities. The design of the Acom digital console system is based on The Australian Advanced Air Traffic System (TAAATS) - one of the largest and most sophisticated air traffic automation systems in the world. The Acom system is operating successfully in high-profile environments such as:
Acom is built on a scalable, advanced technology platform that ensures exceptional performance, high-speed response, multimedia compatibility, custom configuration and cost-effective evolution. Acom's distributed network architecture supports the seamless operation and resource sharing of voice, video and data between control rooms that are separated by hundreds - sometimes even thousands - of miles. Acom is flexible and scalable. This means that each installation can be tailored to meet the needs of the customer. It also means that the system can expand and adapt as the customer's needs and technology change. Communications Control and Radio Dispatch Zetron offers scalable solutions for communications control ranging from multi position networks to single operator systems. Zetron's Series 4000 Communication Control System is a programmable, multi-position solution for medium sized communication facilities. The Series 4000 includes PC-based workstations, trunked radio compatibility and an integrated instant-recall recorder that captures radio traffic on each channel. The Series 4000 supports more radio and signaling protocols than any other console in the industry including P25, iDEN®, EDACS®, LTR(tm), Opensky®, SmartNet®, SmartZone®, MPT 1327, Fleetsync(tm) PTT ID and MDC-1200®. Zetron's Digital Console System (DCS) is designed for the smaller operations control room. The DCS-5020 combines telephony with both digital (TETRA) and analogue radio controls. It supports up to 28 ports and up to six screen-based operator consoles. The DCS-5020 is suitable for a range of professional applications including public safety, emergency services, transportation, utilities and private industry. Although it offers many of the features of a traditional console system, the DCS-5020 is based on a distributed architecture that eliminates the need for a central switch, even with multiple operator positions. This architecture ensures a fully scalable solution and provides a high level of system resilience for mission-critical applications. Zetron's Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) radio remote control system is based on the widely accepted Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) open standard (IETF RFC 3261). This system provides pure end-to-end interoperability. Zetron's SIP-based console can co-exist and interoperate within a company's SIP telephony networks and infrastructure. This provides a migration path for using inexpensive SIP desksets as radio consolettes. Zetron's SIP- based console is another clear demonstration of Zetron's commitment to support open standards.
