AlfaTronix was established 25 years ago to manufacture reliable voltage converters for the marine market. The converters supplied communications and navigation equipment, often used in life threatening situations. Today, AlfaTronix Ltd manufacture DC to DC and AC to DC voltage converters for all types of mobile electrical systems fitted on vehicles, vessels and aircraft.

The company is based in Poole, Dorset, on the South Coast of Britain and employs 25 people. Annual sales are over £2 .5  M and, with customers in over 30 countries, exports now make up the majority of production. The distribution system is constantly evolving and the company is always on the lookout for fast moving distributors.

Poole is where the head office and manufacturing facility is located. AlfaTronix Sarl is a sister company in Paris serving the French and Italian markets and our sales literature is available in several languages.

AlfaTronix have been awarded the TradePartners UK Regional Languages for Export Award for outstanding achievement in overcoming language and cultural barriers in global trade. Expansion is continuing into Europe and recently sales have begun into North and South America.

AlfaTronix consistently wins awards for quality and innovation in production and is accredited to ISO9001. The assembly area uses World-Class Manufacturing techniques to mistake proof, prevent waste and continuously improve.

The company excels at producing voltage converters that are compact, cool running, and emit negligible levels of RFI. The products are assembled using surface mount assembly technology to improve reliability and reduce cost.
