Brian Back re-elected as LPRA vice chair

Brian Back was re-elected as the vice chair of the Low Power Radio Association (LPRA) on 29 May

Back is the founder and CEO of Radio Data Networks, and has been involved with the LPRA since its early days and encourages business professionals involved with the use of wireless technology from RFID through to IoT to join for the greater good.

In related news, the LPRA’s bi-annual Radio Solutions conference will be sponsored by LPRA member NEDAP and held at its head office in the Netherlands, on 16-17 May 2019.

The LPRA formed in 1990 and acts as the voice of the short range device (SRD), Low Power Radio Industry in the European and international regulatory arena. It is a full member of ETSI and regularly represents its members' interests at regulatory meetings including TCAM, CEPT and public interest meetings coordinated by the European Commission and national regulators on wireless matters.
