SaaS provider evolves flagship product

Management software supplier SolarWinds has announced what it refers to as “a major evolution” in its software as a service portfolio.

New additions to the technology - known as SolarWinds Cloud - include AddOptics, which is a full-stack performance monitoring tool. Other improvements include updates to the company’s log management solution Papertrail, as well as digital experience monitoring apparatus Pingdom.

Speaking of the products, SolarWind’s executive vice president Christoph Pfister said: "Application performance and the digital experience of users have a direct and significant impact on business success.

"With the stakes so high, the ability to monitor across the three pillars of observability-logs, metrics, and tracing-is essential. SolarWinds Cloud offers this comprehensive functionality with industry-best speed and simplicity.”

According to the company the improvements are designed to help those responsible for the system ‘simplify and accelerate’ management and troubleshooting.
