ALE’s Private 5G for IoT
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has launched a Private 5G solution - partnering with Celona - with the aim of extending IoT connectivity.
According to a statement, the product integrates with ALE’s OmniVista, OmniSwitch, and OmniAccess Stellar solutions, enabling “secure and high quality connectivity across complex enterprise environments, including large outdoor spaces.”
The statement continued: “ALE’s Private 5G solution is engineered for ultra-reliable connectivity in complex industrial settings such as manufacturing, refineries, logistics warehouses, and ports.
“It offers large-area wireless coverage, secure and reliable high-speed mobility, supporting real-time, critical industrial applications, leading to enhanced IoT and Industry 4.0 integration.
