Day Wireless expands into Europe with “strategic union”
Day Wireless Systems has announced the acquisition of Netherlands-based telecoms provider HOFCON Technologies. The company describes itself as the largest Motorola dealer in the Western US, and a “veteran communications company in the North American market.”
Discussing the move in a statement, a spokesperson for Day Wireless said: “This strategic union not only marks Day Wireless Systems' expansion into Europe, but also heralds a new era of global support for industries reliant on robust communication networks.
“The acquisition brings together two companies with a shared history of collaboration spanning over a decade. Day Wireless Systems - headquartered in Milwaukie, Oregon - has been a cornerstone in the wireless communication solutions sector for more than 50 years.
“HOFCON Technologies, founded in 2008, has quickly established itself as an innovative force in the European telecom and IT sectors.”
The company anticipates that its expansion into Europe will provide benefits to a variety of mission critical verticals, including oil and gas. Discussing the latter in particular, the spokesperson said: “With operations often spanning multiple countries and continents, the industry requires seamless communication solutions that can bridge vast distances and challenging environments.
“Similarly, tech companies with global footprints can now leverage Day Wireless Systems' expanded capabilities for their communication needs. The company's ability to provide comprehensive solutions across North America and Europe positions it as an ideal partner for multinational tech firms seeking unified communication systems.”
