Everbridge makes COVID-related CEM functionality available in Europe

Everbridge has expanded its critical event management (CEM) platform in Europe to include its COVID-19 Shield and Contact Tracing solutions.

These solutions incorporate a Coronavirus-specific data feed relating to new outbreaks, as well as changes in local policy, disruption to supply chains and so on. According to the company, organisations can set the system up in less than two days.

Everbridge states that its CEM solution provides an “integrated, end-to-end approach for managing all phases of a critical event, accelerating the time to identify and resolve threats, and providing a unified, organisational view to facilitate more coordinated action.” The CEM leverages “225 out-of-the-box, pre-existing integrations, more than 100 communication modalities, and 22,000 risk data sources.”

Speaking of the use of the technology during COVID-19, head of international at Everbridge Javier Colado said: “There has never been a more important time for organisations to manage risk, communicate with their employees and get people back to work safely. This CEM launch will both benefit organisations headquartered in Europe, and multinationals who operate there.”
