BAPCO 2021 opens for registration

Registration has opened for the rescheduled BAPCO Conference & Exhibition, taking place at the Coventry Ricoh Arena in October.

Discussing this year's annual Conference & Exhibition, the organisers said: "As ever, BAPCO 2021 will feature numerous conference sessions, led by experts from across the UK public safety communications sector. These will include much-anticipated ESN updates, as well as presentations on many other topics, ranging from the continued use of Airwave to the deployment of ‘future technology,’ such as drones.

The event will also showcase the latest public safety communications technology, with some of the biggest companies in the world conducting business on the exhibition floor.

As in previous years, the event will bring together a wide range of stakeholders, including users, manufacturers, consultants and government representatives. BAPCO 2021 will also be fully supported online, with organisers anticipating substantially more international interest than usual following the success of BAPCO: The Online Event in March.

The new online offering will allow those with restricted travel to experience the show, with all conference sessions being streamed live for a small access fee. Exhibitors will also have the ability to interact with visitors prior and during the show in a BAPCO first."

Speaking of the event, and why it’s so crucial to the UK public safety sector, BAPCO President John Anthony said: “Our annual Conference & Exhibition has always been a real high-point for the industry, and this year will be no different. The aim is always to help drive the sector forward, enabling emergency services in their crucial task of keeping the public safe.

“We’re anticipating that 2021 will be a particularly special year for those who make the trip to Coventry. Ours is a very social industry, and I for one can’t wait to get back to face-to-face networking with old friends and much-missed colleagues.”

The 2021 BAPCO annual Conference & Exhibition will take place at the Coventry Ricoh Arena, from 12-13 October.
