CCW keynote government speakers announced

The organisers of Critical Communications World have announced that the Austrian State secretary for digitisation and broadband, Florian Tursky, will be officially opening the event.

He will be joined by Kirsia Pimiä, who will deliver the opening keynote address on the second day of the conference. Pimiä - who is permanent secretary, Ministry of Interior in Finland – will be discussing 'What will the future look like and what can we do about it now'.

She is a member of the Committee for EU Affairs, the Security Committee of Finland, and the Arctic Advisory Board, amongst others. The latter deals with Finland’s Strategy for the Arctic region.

Speaking of the a event, a spokesperson for organisers MA Exhibitions said: “CCW will feature three days of in-depth conference and Focus Forum sessions, delivered by critical communications thought leaders from across the globe.

“The theme this year is ‘Evolving the Ecosystem,’ with multiple topic streams including ‘international perspectives and collaboration’, ‘transition to broadband and 5G,’ ‘cybersecurity’ and ‘evolving technologies.’

Critical Communications World takes place at Messe Wien in Austria, from June 21 to 23.
