The awards recognise the vital work of control room employees across the critical and emergency services. There are ten categories – Lifetime Achievement, Award For Services To The Public, Control Room Call Taker Of The Year, Control Room Dispatcher Of The Year, Young Achiever Of The Year, Community Champion, Leader Of The Year, Team Of The Year, Special Recognition Award For Bravery And Courage, and Control Room Ambassador Of The Year.
The organisers are looking for nominations for people who have gone above and beyond in the control room to deliver exceptional service.
Finalists will be invited to a special awards event on Thursday 5 March 2020 at Jury’s Inn Hinckley Island. The event will be an evening of celebration alongside professionals from control rooms across all disciplines.
Entries should be no longer than 500 words and can be submitted online.
