IoT company develops out-of-the-box solutions, seeks resellers

IRIS IoT Solutions Limited has developed a range of out-of-the-box entry-level IoT solutions and is now looking to speak with mobile and two-way radio resellers who might be interested in supplying them to their customers.

The solutions combine easy-to-install battery-powered LoRa sensors, with a stand-alone cellular gateway and a cloud-based data analytics and visualisation platform and IRIS has designed each solution to be complete in its own right without the need for additional components of the IoT stack from other vendors. The company also has NB-IoT and LTE-M versions on its development roadmap.

For example, the company claims that its Legionella Starter Kit fully automatically addresses all organisations’ compliance and legislative requirements for the monitoring and control of water systems in line with health & safety best practice; from initial water temperature measurement through monthly report generation and certification to full data repository and traceability, with in-built alarms and escalations.

“Having more than 20 years’ experience in mobile comms ourselves, we fully understand the challenges in introducing new products to customers, particularly when that involves new, ground-breaking technologies,” said Stephen Westley, IRIS director. “And so, when we thought about how we should present our IoT solutions on behalf of the mobile re-seller channel, we knew it just had to be ‘out-of-the-box’, both metaphorically, in so much as each is a complete end-to-end solution and literally, in that it comes packaged, ready-to-install.
