New guest WiFi solution announced
Fontech has launched an upgraded guest WiFi offering. The product, according to the company, is aimed at service providers looking to target the small business segment.
The solution is comprised of an app, enabling users to “customise the guest experience.” The system is accessed through a single off-the-shelf WiFi point, and monitored via the company’s service management platform.
A spokesperson for Fontech said: “The centralised portal allows users to define and apply different business models, experiences, and revenue schemes for each type of customer.”
Speaking of the solution, CEO of Fontech parent company Fon, Alex Puregger, said: “The small business market represents a significant opportunity for operators looking for diversification through digital services, and we are delighted to be able to offer them the technology they need to tap into this new market.
“We have been working as a strategic partner with Vodafone Spain for a long time, and we are proud that our latest innovation is enabling them to meet the needs of an exponentially growing segment."
According to figures quoted by Fontech, businesses see an on-average 72 per cent increase in sales after implementing free WiFi.
