Sepura wins HR and business recognition

Radio manufacturer Sepura has received Investors in People silver accreditation, as well as ‘Large Business of the Year’ at the recent Cambridge News Business Awards.

The company received the award after its latest assessment with Investors in People (IiP), which came shortly after Sepura was named “Large Business of the Year” at the Cambridge News Business Awards.

According to the Cambridge News awards judges, the company was recognised for its “stellar achievements in the past 18 months”, including large fleet radio sales to the Metropolitan Police, Norfolk and Suffolk constabularies, as well as emergency services organisations in Brazil, Sweden, Norway and Belgium.

Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire Constabulary and Hertfordshire Constabulary have also recently equipped officers with Sepura SC20 TETRA radios

Commenting on the double success, Sepura CEO Steve Barber said: “Our people are the reason for our continuing success, and the hard work we have undertaken to create a culture of bringing our people together productively is reflected in these awards.

“We are investing heavily in our R&D teams to bring our next generation LTE products to the critical communications market as well as building our commercial and business teams to support future growth.”
