AGS Pest Control deploys BigChange’s mobile working system

AGS, provider of facilities management services to Transport for London (TfL), has finished implementing a mobile working system from BigChange.

The solution has been rolled out across the company’s pest control division, as an initial deployment, and consists of JobWatch, a mobile app installed on field technicians’ tablets, which is linked to allow real-time access to BigChange’s cloud-based back-office CRM and working scheduling systems. It has replaced a number of separate systems to allow paperless working. It helps ensure that the right technicians are assigned to the correct jobs based on their skills and certifications.

AGS provides a range of services for the upkeep of public transport facilities across London (such as the Underground, rail lines, tunnels, rail and bus stations) including cleaning, maintenance, painting and specialist coatings.

The work that AGS performs on behalf of TfL is fault-based and service requests are made through a TfL system that will soon be integrated with BigChange’s to provide an end-to-end digital workflow.

“The UK pest control market has undergone some major changes in recent years and we have identified a need for small, specialist and highly mobile teams to deliver fast-response services,” said David McMillan, general manager, AGS Pest Control. “BigChange provides a highly agile and accessible platform that will underpin this expansion and allow us to easily collaborate with like-minded companies nationally.”
